About the role
We are seeking a warm, experienced, and proactive support worker for a 23-year-old woman living with autism, ADHD, OCD, and Tourette's syndrome. The participant lives in her family home in Bellbird, NSW, and this position covers one day per week — the main carer's day off.
You will work independently with the participant on that day, following routines and approaches you will be trained in directly by the main carer before you start. The right person will be patient, adaptable, and confident supporting someone with complex and overlapping needs.

What you'll be doing
Supporting morning and afternoon routines with prompting and guidance
Accompanying the participant out in the community
Providing transport to appointments and activities
Offering full support through prompting and guidance throughout the day
Working independently with the participant on the agreed day
What we're looking for
Demonstrated experience supporting people with autism, ADHD, OCD, and/or Tourette's syndrome
Ability to work with complex and overlapping support needs
Calm, patient, and positive approach
Confidence working independently in a home and community setting
Strong communication skills and ability to follow established routines and strategies
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Valid driver's licence and reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion
Training and getting started
Training will be provided by the main carer before you begin, covering the participant's routines, preferences, and support strategies. All other arrangements will be negotiated directly with the main carer.
Pay: $38.00 – $55.25 per hour
