The NSW Family Day Care Association has the central aim of promoting and supporting all aspects of Family Day Care and In Home Care. The Association has worked to provide support, resourcing and advocacy for all its members, and to increase the status of Family Day Care and In Home Care within the community.
About the role
As the Marketing and Communication Officer, you will play a key role in executing the organisation’s strategic marketing and communication plan. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help implement marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand identity and provide staff with essential marketing and communication resources. This role also involves producing branded templates, managing digital campaigns, and ensuring consistent brand alignment across all communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to implement marketing, communication, promotional, and branding initiatives to meet strategic goals.
- Monitor, collect, analyse, and regularly report on data, trends, insights and campaign performance.
- Create engaging contents for various platforms, including websites, blogs and social media, while managing social media accounts.
- Coordinate events, promotions, and other marketing activities.
- Manage budgets for marketing projects and campaigns.
- Maintain project management tools and systems to track progress, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing.
- Solid online and offline marketing skills and knowledge
- Strong knowledge and experience with digital platforms, social media, photography, videography and website maintenance
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools.
- High level computer skills & thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Indesign, Photoshop, Canva and Adobe suite of products
- Excellent organisation and time management and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Work well under pressure and flexibility to assist others in the organisation.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector
- Knowledge of Registered Training Organisation (RTOs)
- Knowledge of the non-profit sector
