About the role
The purpose of the role is to provide executive leadership and overseeing the operations of Metro North Mental Health (MNMH) including three Authorised Mental Health Services (TPCH, RBWH and Redcliffe Caboolture) and the Alcohol and Drug Service. The role represents a single point of accountability for achieving all outcomes expected of MNMH to ensure that it contributes to the achievement of Metro North Health's vision, strategic objectives and the Service Agreement with the Department of Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide executive level leadership to MNMH ensuring that financial and human resources are effectively managed whilst maintaining the highest level of contemporary clinical practice that embodies excellence in consumer, carer and staff experience.
Ensure that all services are planned and delivered across the clinical continuum, recognising the ongoing need for clinical redesign, the interdependency of serve provision across the other service groups, and in collaboration with internal and external service partners.
Establish strong clinical and business governance frameworks to drive evidence based and transparent decision making, accountability of performance and optimal use of resources to deliver quality health outcomes.
Foster an environment of education, quality improvement, evidence-based practice and reflective feedback and learning.
