Cooee is seeking an experienced and ambitious culinary leader to guide the next evolution of our modern Australian menu. This is a rare opportunity to join one of Perth’s most iconic waterfront venues and help shape its next chapter.
While suited to an experienced Head Chef, we also welcome Senior Sous Chefs, Executive Sous Chefs and emerging culinary leaders ready to take the next step. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, including Group Executive Chef Kim Brennan @chefkimbrennan and empowered to make a meaningful impact.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll lead all kitchen operations, inspire and develop your team, and deliver exceptional food experiences that reflect Cooee's relaxed yet refined dining style. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines creativity, people leadership and commercial acumen. You'll have the opportunity to influence menu development, champion Western Australian produce and create a kitchen culture built on collaboration, consistency and excellence.
We are seeking someone who combines culinary expertise with strong leadership capability.

You may be:

What You'll Be Responsible For

Lead kitchen operations and service delivery

Design and execute seasonal menus featuring WA produce

Recruit and develop a high-performing team

Uphold food quality, presentation and consistency

Manage costs, labour, ordering and inventory

Build strong supplier relationships

Ensure food safety and WHS compliance

Foster a positive, high-performing culture
You will bring:
