Residential Cleaner (Casual) - Inner Sydney
Kept is a residential cleaning company servicing inner Sydney. We are building our cleaning team and are looking for experienced house cleaners to join us on a casual basis. As this is an early role with a growing business, there is genuine scope to move into more hours and senior responsibilities over time.
About the role
We provide regular and one-off cleans for homes across the inner west and eastern suburbs, primarily apartments and terraces of one to three bedrooms. You will be responsible for cleaning each home to our standard and leaving it presentation-ready.
We work to a detailed checklist on every job so that our quality stays consistent. Beyond a standard clean, we finish each home with extra attention to detail, including arranging cushions, folding towels, tidying and resetting surfaces. This finishing work is a core part of the role rather than an optional extra.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in residential or professional cleaning
- A thorough, consistent approach and a strong eye for detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- Living in inner Sydney, or happy to travel to the area for work
- The right to work in Australia

Hours and location
- Daytime hours - shifts fall between 8am and around 4pm, Monday to Saturday (we do not operate on Sundays)
- Casual position with flexible scheduling based on your availability and our bookings
- As a new business, hours will be varied at first and increase as our bookings grow
- A minimum of three hours is guaranteed for every shift you are rostered for
- Jobs are located across the inner west and eastern suburbs
Pay and conditions
- $34 per hour plus superannuation, paid weekly
- Paid travel time between jobs
- Higher rates apply on Saturdays
- All equipment and cleaning products are supplied
