Account Manager – Events & Partnerships

Simply Seated is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing events team.
We work across corporate events, brand activations, private events, launches and large-scale productions, providing furniture hire, styling, signage, custom builds and complete event solutions.
This is a client-facing role for someone who understands events, builds strong relationships and can confidently manage projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of clients and events, working closely with our creative, production and operations teams to bring each brief to life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Responding to enquiries, preparing quotes and developing event proposals
- Understanding briefs, budgets, venues and operational requirements
- Recommending furniture, styling and event solutions
- Managing events from enquiry through to confirmation and delivery
- Conducting venue site visits and client meetings
- Coordinating with our styling, design, graphics, production and operations teams
- Managing changes, timelines and client expectations
- Following up opportunities and driving conversions
- Developing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
- Ensuring every client receives a responsive, polished and consistent experience
About You
You’re organised, commercially minded and genuinely enjoy working with people. You can juggle multiple events at once without losing sight of the details.
Ideally, you will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in events, hospitality, venues, event hire or a similar client-facing role
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience preparing quotes, proposals and managing budgets
- A good eye for styling, design and presentation
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple deadlines and changing priorities
- A proactive approach and strong follow-through
- The ability to work collaboratively across creative and operational teams
Experience within event hire, event styling, venues, catering or event production would be highly regarded.
