About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Compliance & Risk, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the directorate. Through the delivery of independent audits, compliance reviews, and quality improvement initiatives, the role ensures frontline services consistently meet the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative requirements, and accreditation obligations.
Partnering closely with operational leaders and frontline teams, the Quality Assurance Manager promotes a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role provides expert guidance, identifies opportunities to enhance systems and practices, and supports the delivery of safe, person-centred, high-quality care and services for older people.
About you

With a strong foundation in compliance management, audit processes, and risk management you will have strong analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. You’ll bring energy, drive and genuine enthusiasm complimented with business savvy and an ability to embed a culture of excellence.
The key skills you’re looking to leverage in your next position include:
- Extensive knowledge of aged care standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is desirable
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coach, guide, and support team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines
- Driver’s License
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
