We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Services Manager to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team within a youth justice environment in regional Victoria.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership, oversee healthcare operations, and drive best-practice service delivery for young people in custody. Working within a growing service, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a team of nurses and healthcare professionals while ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered every day.
As the Clinical Services Manager, you will provide operational and clinical leadership to the nursing team and support the delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare services to young people within a custodial setting.
You will oversee the day-to-day functioning of the health centre, support workforce development, drive quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the strategic growth of the service.
This role offers a unique blend of clinical leadership, people management, service development, and stakeholder engagement.

Provide oversight and support for nursing practice and healthcare delivery.

Monitor compliance with clinical governance frameworks and mandatory requirements.

Utilise data and reporting to drive service enhancements.

Support incident management, investigations, and risk mitigation processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse.

Minimum 5 years post-graduate nursing experience.

Demonstrated experience in a senior clinical or leadership role.

Strong people leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.

Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and change management activities.

A commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care and human rights-based practice.

Ability to work effectively within complex and highly regulated environments.

Postgraduate qualifications in Health Management, Leadership, or a related field.

Experience working within custodial, justice, mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), or community health settings.
