We are looking for friendly, dedicated and passionate coaches/instructors who are motivated to teach their chosen sports encouraging participation and fun. This is great opportunity for University students and sports fans completing a relevant degree in PE teaching, Sports Coaching/Science or Human Movement to get experience whilst studying with flexible hours with future permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

About the Role:
Job Summary
Sports Coach - Casual
Day & Time: Must be available to work at least 2-3 afternoons from Monday- Friday from 12pm - 4:30pm.
Date Commencing: Wednesday 30th of January on going every week (except school holidays), with more work opportunities on different days and hours available for the right candidate.
Location: Hills area and Blacktown NSW
Responsibilities and Duties
Teach the fundamentals skills, rules and tactics of sport/s and facilitate activities and modified games to a recreational group.
Position Characteristics: High energy coach that is able to engage and motivate teenage students. The successful coach will also be able to plan creative sessions and be able to adjust to the needs of the group.
Pay Pay is dependent on Qualifications and experience

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Criteria: Must be available to work at least 2-3 afternoons from Monday- Friday from 12pm - 4:30pm.
Must have a Working with Children Check Clearance number.

Experience Needed: 1 year of playing Competitive or Recreational Sport. OR full training will be provided for the right candidates who show initiative, enthusiasm and capability to learn.
Qualifications Needed: The successful coach will be required to complete the free online Coaching Qualifications for Community General Principles of Coaching for free http://www.ausport.gov.au/participating/coaches/education/onlinecoach
Other Desirable Criteria:
First Aid
Drivers Licence
Coaching Accreditations such as a Level 1 or 2
Relevant Tertiary Qualification such as: Exercise/ sport science/ Sports Coaching/ Human Movement/ PE degree
