Transcend are seeking experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welders for our client who specialises high-security containment solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, stable work within a well-established organisation delivering high-quality security products, including security doors, windows, frames, and prison cell pods.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG welding of stainless-steel security products
- Fabrication and assembly of security doors, windows, frames, and modular security structures
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Producing high-quality welds to meet strict safety and security standards
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment with full PPE
About You
- Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel (essential)
- Competency in MIG welding stainless steel and mild steel
- Experience in steel fabrication, metal manufacturing, or security fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to full-time ongoing work
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and precision
