What you will do
As financial assistance scheme intake and triage supervisor, you will lead a team that supports victims of crime through the financial assistance scheme.
You will help deliver a fair, trauma-informed service that supports recovery and improves outcomes for victims.
You will:

lead a team of intake and triage officers to deliver quality and consistent services
-
review complex applications and make decisions on interim support and authorised expenses
-
manage the daily operation of the intake and triage function to meet service targets
-
identify and address operational risks to support efficient service delivery
-
improve policies, procedures and practices while promoting culturally safe and victim-centred services.
About you
A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, operations, community services, social work, criminology, psychology, victim services or family violence is desirable. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
You should also have:
-
experience leading an intake or application assessment team in a complex service environment
-
strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and the victim services system
-
an understanding of family violence, sexual assault and culturally safe service delivery
-
experience using Salesforce or similar case management systems.
