POSITION TITLE: NDIS Support Worker / Community Support Worker
LOCATION: Eltham / Northern Suburbs Melbourne
PAY RATE: $33.95 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Grace Quality Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist a participant living independently in the community.
The participant is a mature female requiring assistance with:
- Community access and transport
- Shopping and errands
- Assistance with appointments
- Light domestic support
- Meal preparation prompts
- Welfare checks and emotional support
- Assistance maintaining household routines
- Support with pets/cat care where required
The ideal worker will:
- Be patient, calm, and empathetic
- Have experience working with psychosocial disability and complex behaviours
- Be confident with community access support
- Have excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Be reliable and flexible
- has experience with trauma informed care
Essential Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (preferred)
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- First Aid & CPR
- Experience within disability/community services
Hours:
Flexible weekday shifts available with potential ongoing work.
Pay:
$33.95 per hour
