About the Role
Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, Contract Resources is seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, leading teams, managing stakeholders, driving commercial outcomes, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, successfully, and in line with client requirements.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects in accordance with Contract Resources’ Project Management Procedures, client requirements, and contractual obligations
- Ensure all projects are delivered safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with HSEQ requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Review project methodologies, equipment spreads, schedules, and execution plans to ensure they are achievable and fit for purpose.
- Manage project performance, including progress reporting, strategic planning, project updates, and communication with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and key business stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, supporting performance management and ongoing capability growth.
- Manage project financial performance, including estimates, budgets, forecasts, margins, variations, cost control, and invoicing requirements.
- Support sales and tendering activities by providing project expertise, technical input, and commercial insights.
- Identify capital expenditure requirements and opportunities, supporting asset planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Contract Resources professionally with clients and stakeholders, maintaining a strong focus on service excellence and successful project outcomes.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Trade, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- 10+ years’ experience in project management, supervisory, or technical leadership roles within a safety and quality-focused industry.
- Proven experience leading and delivering complex projects, ideally within the oil & gas, energy, mining, or industrial services sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, margins, variations, cost control, and project financial performance.
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams, developing personnel, and driving successful project outcomes.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and delivery against key milestones.
- Experience managing client relationships, stakeholder engagement, and resolving complex issues effectively.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial operations, equipment, logistics, and project execution requirements.
- Experience supporting tendering, estimating, and business development activities is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of HSEQ requirements, legislative responsibilities, and industry best practices.
- Strong computer literacy, including advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using business/project management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, problem-solve effectively, and take ownership of project deliverables.
