- We provide community transport services in Sydney.
- Community transportation is a door-to-door transportation service provided by cars and minibuses.
- Help people to remain independent and lead active lives in their local communities by providing safe and reliable transport services.
- We provide help to disabled people who need it.
- Our services include in-door shopping, personal and medical transportation, and group social events. We also provide transportation services and drivers for other community organizations.
- We offer inclusive and welcoming services that include cultural diversity, religious diversity, sexual orientation and gender identity.
- We provide services to help people get where they need to go
- Our drivers provide a safe, reliable, door-to-door transport service for people (individuals and groups) who cannot easily use public or private transport to support their independence and facilitate their access to health, community, social and related services
Necessary requirement
- Current NSW LR (or higher) driving licence. Applicants must be able to drive a manual vehicle.
- Proven safe driving record (conduct licence check) and mature driving skills
- Ability to be authorised as a NSW bus driver (note this includes medical treatment)
- Good knowledge of the geography of the Inner West and surrounding Sydney.
- Demonstrates time management skills, basic computer skills, and basic report writing skills.
- Current first aid certificate, including CARDIopulmonary resuscitation (or updated/acquired competency)
- Satisfactory completion of police inspection (National Police Certificate), work with children, NDIS Worker's Permit and RMS Permit.
