We are seeking a motivated and reliable Boilermaker & Rigging Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the steel fabrication, construction, and heavy lifting industries.
About the Role
As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. Duties will include:
- Assisting with fabrication, welding, and assembly of structural steel
- Rigging and lifting operations using cranes, chains, and lifting gear
- Reading and interpreting drawings and job specifications
- Use of hand and power tools
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Working on-site and in workshop settings
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Genuinely interested in boilermaking and rigging
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work as part of a team
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)
