About the role
DCC is look for a Trade Mark Administrator to join its leading Trade Mark Practice. The Trade Mark Administrator supports operators to ensure critical deadlines are met and contributes to the efficient functioning of the Administrative Operations Team (AOT) supporting offices across Australia and Asia.
The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and service delivery, with a consistent commitment to maintaining high service standards for Principals, operators, and internal stakeholders. You will be part of a busy, friendly team working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify details of formal Trade Mark documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with managing and processing incoming correspondence from IP Australia and the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand and incoming correspondence for Principals and operators across the Trade Mark Practice
- Prepare, Process, File and Report various applications
- Assist with the processing of takeover matters
- Prepare tax invoices in accordance with firm processes
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Trade Mark Operations group as required
- Assist other AOT functions where needed, as directed by the AOT Trade Mark Coordinator & Operations Manager.
About You:
- Prior experience working within an Intellectual Property (IP) environment is an advantage, ideally Trade Marks.
- Exposure to records and document management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset with a professional and responsive approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel,
- Inprotech and iManage experience is helpful
- Understanding of data quality control processes
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
- Proactive and adaptable
