TAS Workshop and Resources Assistant
Permanent, part-time, term-time role
Commencing during Term 3, 2026
Inaburra School is an independent, K-12 coeducational Christian School in the Sutherland shire, increasingly recognised amongst independent schools as a centre for innovation and creativity in education. The School is currently inviting applications for a TAS Workshop and Resources Assistant, commencing during Term 3, 2026. This position is two days per week, 7:30 to 3:30pm, during term-time.
The TAS Workshop and Resources Assistant role is to organise, purchase and prepare materials for planned teaching/practical classroom experiences, and hygienically and safely maintain classrooms/equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
The role involves supporting teachers in facilitating a safe and productive learning environment within a range of Technology classrooms such as Timber Technology and Stage 4 Technology Mandatory. Those with a trade or hobby background are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will need:
- A person of Christian character and convictions, actively involved in a church and committed to the work of the Christian gospel
- Experience with a workshop or technical environment, and a familiarity with the safe use of common power tools and larger equipment
- A willingness to work alongside the team to ensure the best outcome for the School
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
- Basic knowledge of MS office applications and Google applications
- Working with Children Check
- Flexibility to meet needs as they arise, and to show initiative when faced with problems
- Driver’s license and own vehicle for off-site acquisitions
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with grace and humour
- Demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines
