Role Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist. This full-time position involves providing high-quality care in your area of expertise. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, creating and implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate records. This is an on-site role.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Assess and create treatment plans for clients with various presentations, focussing on interventions for behaviours, sensory processing, emotion regulations, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and activities of daily living.
· Deliver therapy Face-to-Face in our clinics and via Telehealth where appropriate
· Delivery face-to-face therapy in the community setting.
· Administer standardised assessments and reports
· Run group workshops
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders of a client’s support network, including family, educators and other allied health support workers.
To apply for the role, you must have the following:
· Relevant Bachelor degree
· Full AHPRA registration
· At least 2 years of work experience in the field of Occupational Therapy
· Experience working across the lifespan, especially with children younger than 12 years of age
· Experience working with a variety of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, developmental delays and Sensory disorders, etc.
· Experience in delivering assessments
· Keen to build your career and experience as an OT in the industry
· Skilled in building rapport and working collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
· Organised, reliable, and committed to ethical, evidence-based practice.
· Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
