About the Role
Be the trusted Unit Secretary supporting the Director of Neurology and Stroke. Manage diaries, correspondence and reception, build strong links across teams and keep the unit running smoothly with a calm, professional approach.
Duties
- Manage executive diary, emails and correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, travel and key paperwork
- Support reception and first point of contact
- Liaise with senior medical, nursing and bed management teams
- Connect with external services to meet unit needs
About You
You bring a calm, organised approach and take pride in providing high quality administrative support in a busy health setting.
- Audio typing skills with 50–60 wpm approved typing test
- Strong numeracy, spelling and grammar
- Confident PC and word processing skills
- Clear verbal communication with patients, staff and visitors
- Office admin experience with sound hospital and medical knowledge
