About the Role
We're seeking an experienced
Senior Data Analyst to join a Federal Government team in Canberra. You'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making while working closely with business stakeholders across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, cleanse and validate data from multiple sources.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and business opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality and integrity across all reporting.
- Automate recurring reports and improve data processes where possible.
- Plan, organise and manage analytical projects, including research, analysis, presentations and supporting working groups.
Key Requirements
- Current NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience in Business Situation Analysis, including analysing complex business problems, identifying root causes and engaging with stakeholders.
- Experience in Data Modelling & Design, including developing, maintaining and optimising data structures to support reporting and analytics.
- Strong Data Visualisation skills, with experience creating dashboards and reports using Power
