The Department of Justice and Community Safety, is seeking a Recruitment Projects Officer to provide a critical role within Recruitment Services.
About the Business Unit
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) provides a range of government programs and services which focus on improving community safety, victim services, regulatory services and crime prevention, and building strong collaboration across the justice system.
The People, Safety, Culture (PSC) group supports the department in workplace culture and people matters, including strategic communications, human resource policy and strategy; organisational culture and change; recruitment and retention; performance and development; pay, benefits and workforce reporting; safety and wellbeing; workplace relations; and employee conduct.

The Recruitment Services and Talent Programs team provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. About the Role
The Recruitment Projects Officer provides administration, logistics and project support to the recruitment Talent Partners. The Recruitment Projects Officer is accountable for database administration, processing candidate paperwork, coordinating pre-employment medicals and other relevant recruitment administration tasks as directed by the Assistant Managers and Manager, Talent and Executive Recruitment.
Some of your duties will include:
- Support the Talent Partners and Senior Talent Partners to deliver the required hiring
- Coordinate the delivery of recruitment administration and logistics support services across all recruitment services activity
- Ensure all candidate contact occurs in a timely manner so that candidates continuously move through the recruitment funnel and have a positive candidate experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong administration and customer service experience working in a fast-paced recruitment function.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting priorities to maintain service delivery and meet business requirements.
Qualifications/requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
