Where you'll be working
This role is based at Auburn Hospital within clinical nursing services.
Reports to Nursing Unit Manager and Nurse Manager
Works within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Collaborates with educators and clinical consultants
Provides care in an acute care hospital environment
Engages with patients, families and carers
What you'll be doing
You will deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Provide care aligned to professional standards and policies
Support and mentor junior staff and students
Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Selection Criteria:
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
3. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
5. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
6. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
7. Capacity to work seven ( day rotating roster including public holidays.
