Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and partnering closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board, the Head of Investor Relations will lead AMP's investor relations strategy and serve as the primary link between the organisation and the capital markets. Operating at the highest levels of the business, the role is responsible for shaping and communicating a compelling equity story, strengthening investor confidence and enhancing market understanding of AMP's strategy, performance and long-term value proposition.
Through trusted relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, proxy advisers and shareholders, the role will drive investor engagement, influence market perception and support the creation of long-term shareholder value. As a strategic adviser to senior leadership, the Head of Investor Relations will provide market intelligence and investor insights that inform business decision-making, capital allocation and governance priorities, while leading market communications, supporting continuous disclosure obligations and representing AMP during significant corporate, regulatory and market events
How will you make an impact
- Lead AMP's investor relations program, including financial results, investor presentations, roadshows and market engagement activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, proxy advisers and key capital market participants.
- Advise the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board on investor feedback, market developments and emerging issues.
- Deliver market intelligence and insights to support strategic planning, capital management and business performance discussions.
- Ensure effective management of continuous disclosure obligations and market-sensitive information.
- Lead investor relations support during significant corporate transactions, regulatory developments and other major market events.
Oversee Shareholder Services, strengthening engagement with AMP's retail shareholder base and shareholder communications.

What you will bring to the role
- Significant Investor Relations experience within a listed organisation.
- Experience gained within corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, strategy or a related capital markets environment.
- Exceptional financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to sophisticated audiences.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, investor behaviour and ASX governance and disclosure requirements.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
MBA or postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
