ABOUT ASI SOLUTIONS
ASI Solutions is an Australian-owned technology partner focused on making lives easier through agile, reliable technology at scale. For nearly 40 years, ASI has supported education, government, and commercial organisations as technology environments have grown more complex and more critical to performance. Our approach is practical and outcomes-led — we take the time to understand what matters to each organisation before designing and delivering right-sized, de-risked solutions across managed services, cloud, security, data and AI, and digital skills. With national capability and local delivery teams, ASI helps customers move forward with clarity and confidence.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
You've spent your career in schools. You understand what keeps a principal up at night — technology decisions that sit outside your expertise, procurement frameworks that feel designed for someone else, and a department that moves faster than it communicates. Now imagine using everything you know to make that experience better for every school leader in NSW.
As our DoE Education Specialist, you'll be the bridge between ASI and the NSW primary school principal community. This is a relationship-first role — not a traditional sales position. You'll build genuine connections with school leaders, facilitate conversations that actually help, and work alongside our Education Sales Team as a trusted subject matter expert.
-
Your days will look like this:
- Building and maintaining an active network with DoE primary school principals across NSW — including schools ASI hasn't yet worked with
- Acting as a trusted advisor for school leaders navigating technology decisions, DoE procurement cycles, and curriculum changes
- Designing and delivering a per-term webinar series addressing the real technology challenges facing NSW schools
- Facilitating workshops for school leadership teams covering device strategy, digital literacy, and DoE procurement pathways
- Maintaining structured engagement with key DoE NSW contacts — procurement leads, curriculum staff, and regional directors
- Joining school meetings alongside the Education Sales Team as a subject matter expert, surfacing and qualifying opportunities
- Logging all engagements and follow-ups in HubSpot to keep the pipeline visible and the team ahead of school decision-making
- Representing ASI at education conferences, principal networks, and DoE community forums
- As the role grows — supporting expansion of this model into other states and broader school sectors
A BIT ABOUT YOU
You're a former school principal or senior leader within the NSW Department of Education. Your credibility comes from lived experience — you've been in the room where the hard decisions get made. You're known and respected within the NSW primary school principal community, and you understand how the DoE actually works: its procurement processes, its compliance requirements, its rhythms.
You're equally comfortable facilitating a room full of school leaders as you are having a one-on-one conversation with a principal navigating an unfamiliar decision. You bring genuine care for the people you work with, and you know that trust — once earned — is everything.
What will help you thrive here:
-
You are a natural communicator and relationship-builder who leads with curiosity and empathy
- You are comfortable operating in a commercial environment without compromising the trust of the education community
- You approach problems with a get-stuff-done mindset — you don't wait to be told; you identify what's needed and make it happen
- You're organised and proactive, able to manage a broad network of relationships without things falling through the cracks
- You take ownership — of your activity, your relationships, and your outcomes
