About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring food and drinks are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and venue presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Service
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Deliver meals and drinks promptly
- Ensure guests enjoy a positive dining experience
Bar & Beverage Operations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (where permitted)
- Verify identification and comply with RSA requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar areas
- Replenish stock and supplies as required
Customer Service
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions about menus, specials, and venue facilities
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues when needed
- Build positive relationships and encourage repeat visits
Venue Setup & Maintenance
- Set up and prepare dining areas, tables, and function spaces
- Clear and reset tables efficiently
- Maintain clean and organised service areas
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Event & Function Support
- Assist with weddings, conferences, and private events
- Serve food and beverages during functions
- Support event setup and pack-down activities
- Help ensure smooth operations during busy service periods
Cash Handling & POS Operations
- Process payments using EFTPOS and POS systems
- Handle cash accurately and securely
- Follow company procedures for transaction processing
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Reliable team player with excellent work ethic
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous hospitality, restaurant, café, pub, or hotel experience preferred
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus
- Experience using POS systems is beneficial
Pay: From $5,200.00 per month
