Industrial Designer
Exposure Creative is a design agency specializing in Conceptual Design, Retail Displays, Point of Sale, Product, and Packaging Design. We deliver creative and unique solutions for major brands and retailers.
At Exposure, we manage the entire project lifecycle—from conceptualization through to placement in store or end use.
We are currently recruiting for a full-time, creative Industrial Designer to join our team. This role will be based in either our Brookvale or North Sydney office.
The ideal designer will possess the following skills and experience:
- The ability to collaborate with other designers to develop creative solutions that meet client briefs.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator and Photoshop) at a functional level to create effective visual presentations.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, with the ability to create detailed drawings for quoting and manufacturing with local and offshore suppliers, as well as a strong understanding of materials and surfaces.
- High-level proficiency in KeyShot for rendering and presentation.
- The ability to effectively communicate the features and benefits of designs, ensuring clients understand how all elements of the brief have been addressed and options explored.
- Experience working with a variety of materials, including cardboard, MDF, metal, acrylic, PETG, polypropylene (PP) and ABS.
- Strong conceptual sketching skills to visualize ideas before developing them in 3D SolidWorks.
- A creative approach to problem-solving, considering different perspectives to provide innovative solutions.
- A keen eye for detail and a solid work ethic, with good time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A professional and positive attitude when interacting with clients and suppliers.
The successful candidate will be highly creative, with a flair for outside-the-box solutions. Experience working with brands in retail, and shopper marketing is a significant advantage.
