As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring employees with diverse skills and capabilities
- Proven track record of safe work practices in high-risk environments, hazard identification and rectification
- Confidence to carry out risk assessments, process confirmation activities and workplace inspections to ensure site standards and safe working environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all workgroups
- Attention to detail and strong administrative skills to review and manage weekly plans
- Be a motivated problem solver dedicated to continuously improving their work environment
- High level understanding of incident and investigation procedures
- Previous experience in large scale open pit mining operations with an appreciation of operating and/or managing auxiliary equipment including dozers, graders, scrapers and excavators
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word Document, and Excel.
- Capable of learning SAP work management system (computer software) to deliver targets and achieve plan for our large range of stakeholders.
