We are seeking for a MENTAL DISABILITY support workers for our clients in the Doncaster location of Melbourne VIC.
****Client's Preference/s: Indian, Nepalese, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese****
About You:
We require support workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker.
Your Duties may Include (but not limited to):
- With Bowel Management, Manual Handling and Mental Health Management Experience
- Assisting client with domestic duties
- Assisting the client one on one in-home
- Assisting the client to achieve personal goals
- Assisting client with community access
- Assistance With Travel/Transport Arrangements
NON-NEGOTIABLE MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 6 months experience in Disability Care
- Certificate III Disability or Disability IV
- Must have 100 points ID
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Clear National Police check issued within the last 12 months
- Valid Australian Driver's license and reliable transport
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
- Assist clients with medication module (highly regarded)
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- NDIS module completion certificate
- Experience in behaviours of concern, complex needs and mental health support
- COVID-19 Training Module
Additional Requirements:
- Client's Preference/s: Indian, Nepalese, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese
- Minimum 2 professional references required
- Preferably close to Doncaster or within Doncaster
