Al Noori Childcare Centre is seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Educational Leader to join our team in an off-the-floor leadership role.
We are looking for a confident leader who is passionate about quality early childhood education, mentoring educators and working collaboratively with the entire team to achieve positive outcomes for children.
About the Role
As our Educational Leader, you will play an important role in supporting and mentoring educators to develop and implement meaningful, intentional and engaging educational programs.
You will work collaboratively with all educators and room teams to strengthen practice, encourage critical reflection and ensure children's learning, development, interests and wellbeing remain at the centre of our curriculum.
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must:
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification, or Graduate Diploma qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Educational Leader in an early childhood setting.
- Design, implement, and oversee high-quality educational programs that reflect the needs and interests of children and families.
- Mentor and guide educators in curriculum development, documentation, and reflective practices.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with children, families, educators, and the community.
- Support compliance with the National Law, Regulations, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Lead the development and execution of the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with all staff members.
- Be confident supporting educators with programming, observations, documentation and critical reflection.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Be confident providing constructive feedback and professional guidance.
- Be passionate about continuous improvement and achieving high-quality outcomes for children.
Availability & Flexibility
The successful candidate must:
- Be available to work 4–5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
- Be flexible with working hours according to the needs of the service.
- Be able to work opening and closing shifts.
- Be available to open and close the centre within our trading hours of 7:00am–6:00pm.
- Be willing to support the team and service as required across different parts of the day.
