Applications are invited from creative and innovative individuals to provide engaging and informative customer service and general operational support at the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery and Leeton Visitor Information Centre.
The applicant will have a minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience in a customer focussed environment and hold a current Class C driving licence.
A demonstrated understanding and experience in customer service, complimented by highly developed communication skills both verbal and written are essential in this position. The successful applicant must be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Salary and conditions: The role is graded at Grade 4 in Council’s salary system from $38.40 to $43.01 per hour (which includes the applicable casual loading). Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo and successfully pass a “Functional Assessment”, inclusive of Alcohol & Other Drugs screening, and a “Criminal History Check”.
A Working with Children Check is mandatory for this position.
