Express Metal Products is an innovative and rapidly growing Australian manufacturer with a significant opportunity for an experienced Laser Operator. Specialising in laser cut and fold but with a host of other post processing capabilities, our team operate and maintain a fleet a exclusively TRUMPF machinery that services the domestic manufacturing industry.
Our team is seeking an experienced laser or plasma operator to join our close knit team. Possibility to move to either afternoon or evening shifts is possible after a short induction and familiarisation period.
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Proven history in sheet metal with the experience manipulating and identifying different types of material
- A forklift ticket
- History as a reliable team player
- Experience in similar environments in the Australian Manufacturing industry (steel industry etc)
- Excellent attention to detail and an attitude conducive to excellence in Quality Control
- Experience with Trumpf Lasers or any other Laser/Plasma cutting machines will be highly advantageous
- Applicants who are interstate or looking to relocate in the new year are encouraged to apply in this round
