We are seeking a high-performing Senior Account Manager to drive the strategic engagement and growth of AWS across a targeted territory of public sector hospital providers, across NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. This role represents the opportunity to help shape strategy and accelerate delivery of healthcare services transforming the care experience of millions of people. The ideal candidate will have hunter mentality, with a strong solution selling background, with a proven track record of deepening customer relationship and expanding service adoption.
This is a quota-carrying, new-business-focused role requiring a proven ability to navigate complex customer environments (technology and stakeholder), build and deepen executive relationships through valued based engagement and trusted partnership development, and position cloud solutions that address mission-critical challenges.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and execute strategic focus within your patch by defining overarching mission, goals, and success metrics in line with customer vision, working with internal stakeholders (technical, Professional Services, Customer Solutions, Support, Training etc) to deliver growth and high value customer engagements.
- Influence and educate customer executives to understand how to transform in the cloud and deliver value to reimagine participant services and engagement models.
- Work with Leaders to support you and the customer to accelerate adoptions, deliver upon strategic programs of work, Think Big goals and increase account growth.
- Manage complex contract negotiations, working with senior executives both inside and outside of AWS and serve as a liaison to the legal group.
- Create Think Big opportunities within your customer, thinking on their behalf and shaping new strategic initiatives to deliver with customers and partners.
- Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with your technical (solutions architects and cloud architects) to define customer requirements, and identify & quantify benefits/value to be realized by customer.
A day in the life
You will be responsible for building the strategic plan across your territory, that will include repeatable focuses across customers paired with tailoring for the novel differences between them. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, including collaborating with key partners to deliver upon your strategic opportunities, as well as identifying and building relationships with senior executives and key decision makers. You will have a sizable internal village to engage to support your customer engagements, working with these cross-functional village will ensure you can scale and accelerate great customer outcomes sooner.
