The Role
ClearSky Allied Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Practice Manager to support the operational delivery and growth of our clinic-based services in Brisbane.
This newly created role will oversee the administrative and client-facing aspects of our growing in-clinic service delivery, ensuring high-quality client experiences, streamlined workflows, and strong operational coordination as the organisation continues to expand into Medicare, DVA, Private Health, WorkCover and diversified healthcare services.
Working closely with clinicians, operational teams, and leadership, you will play a key role in strengthening clinic operations, supporting workflow efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and contributing to operational growth initiatives.

About the Opportunity
This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination of clinic operations at our Hamilton site.
You will support clinicians, administration teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery, operational responsiveness, and a positive client experience across clinic services. The role will also contribute to clinic readiness and growth & expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure smooth, professional, and consistent service delivery
- Support high-quality client care and customer experience outcomes
- Monitor clinic workflows, appointment utilisation, onboarding processes, and operational responsiveness
- Support clinicians and operational teams with workflow coordination and operational troubleshooting
- Support implementation of operational systems, workflows, and process improvements
- Assist with rollout of new services, operational systems, and clinic initiatives
- Monitor operational compliance across Medicare, Private Health, NDIS, and related funding streams
- Lead, coach, and support operational and administrative staff
- Support onboarding, training, and capability development of team members
- Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and clinic growth projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑secondary qualifications in business, health administration, or a related field (highly regarded).
- Minimum three years’ experience within a medical, allied health, specialist healthcare practice, or healthcare operational environment
- Previous experience in clinic operations, healthcare administration, service delivery, or operational leadership roles highly regarded
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian healthcare billing practices including but not limited to Medicare, NDIS, and Private Health.
- Demonstrated competence with practice management systems, scheduling platforms, CMS systems, Salesforce, Tyro, PRODA, and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and operational coordination skills
- Ability to lead teams through operational change and organisational growth
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage sensitive situations professionally
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clinicians, clients, and stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to professionalism and service quality
Additional Requirements
- Hold a Current Australian driver’s licence
- Hold a current WWCC (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening, or willingness to obtain
- Current working rights within Australia
