Description:
About the role
We are seeking an experienced, commercially focused and outcomes-driven Claims & Post-Placement Support Manager to lead the claims, outcome and post-placement functions across our employment services programs, including Workforce Australia (WFA), Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA), Parent Pathways and Transition to Work (TTW).
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring we maximise eligible employment outcomes, strengthen post-placement support and maintain high standards of compliance, evidence and claims accuracy.
Working closely with our operational and frontline teams, you will provide specialist guidance and oversight to ensure employment opportunities are converted into sustainable outcomes and that all eligible outcomes are accurately and efficiently claimed.
Skills and Experiences:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee claims, outcome and post-placement support functions across our employment services programs.
Ensure employment outcomes are accurately identified, evidenced, processed and claimed within required timeframes.
Maximise eligible outcome claims and identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
Provide expert advice and support to Program Managers, Team Leaders and frontline staff regarding outcome eligibility, evidence and claiming requirements.
Oversee post-placement support to participants and employers to encourage sustainable employment outcomes.
Monitor claims and outcome performance, identifying trends, risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure claims are accurate, compliant and supported by appropriate evidence.
Develop and implement processes that minimise missed outcomes and improve outcome conversion.
Work collaboratively with Quality & Compliance and operational teams to ensure contractual and program requirements are met.
About You
You will be an experienced employment services professional with a strong understanding of outcomes, claims, compliance and post-placement support.
You will have:
- Demonstrated and recent experience in Australian employment services claims and outcome payments.
- Strong knowledge of employment services outcome requirements, evidence and claiming processes.
- Experience working within Workforce Australia, IEA, Parent Pathways and/or Transition to Work programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing or leading employment services claims, outcomes or post-placement functions.
- A strong understanding of employment services contractual and compliance requirements.
- The ability to identify opportunities to maximise eligible outcomes and improve financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work confidently with data and reporting.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- The ability to translate complex program and contractual requirements into practical guidance for frontline teams.
- A commercially minded and results-focused approach, while maintaining a strong commitment to participant outcomes.
Importantly — Employment Services Experience Is Essential
This is not a general claims management role.
Applicants must have direct experience within Australian employment services, particularly in relation to employment outcomes, outcome payments, claims, evidence requirements and post-placement support.
Experience in insurance claims, workers compensation, general claims management or other non-employment services claims environments will not be considered equivalent experience for this position.
We are looking for someone who understands the employment services environment and can confidently navigate the relationship between placements, outcomes, evidence, claims, compliance and financial performance.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a critical function within a growing employment services organisation and make a genuine impact on both participant outcomes and organisational performance.
You will have the opportunity to shape and improve our claims and post-placement processes, support frontline teams to maximise outcomes and play a key role in driving stronger financial and operational results across multiple employment programs.
If you are an experienced employment services professional who knows how to turn placements into successful, sustainable and claimable employment outcomes, we want to hear from you.
