Reporting to the Group Account Director – DIY, you will be a commercially minded Client Relationship Executive responsible for supporting our Partners through exceptional account management, campaign execution and data-driven performance analysis.
Using campaign, sales and activity data, you'll identify trends, uncover opportunities and provide practical recommendations that help clients achieve their KPIs. Working closely with National Account Managers and our field teams, you'll ensure campaigns are delivered successfully while using insights to continuously improve outcomes.
About the Role
We are currently searching for a talented Client Relationship Executive to work closely with our valued Partners to execute campaigns, monitor performance and drive sales through the DIY/Trade Channel.
This role combines client relationship management with hands-on data analysis. You'll regularly review field activity, sales results and campaign performance using Excel and other reporting tools, overlay multiple data sources to identify trends, and translate those insights into targeted recommendations for clients.
Working alongside an experienced team of National Account Managers, you'll play an important role in ensuring our campaigns deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Partners.
- Coordinate the successful implementation of client campaigns and activations.
- Analyse field activity, sales performance and campaign results using Excel and internal reporting systems.
- Combine multiple data sets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Develop meaningful reports and dashboards that demonstrate campaign performance and ROI.
- Present data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance and achieve client KPIs.
- Work closely with field operations to ensure client briefs are executed accurately.
- Provide regular performance updates and post-campaign reviews to clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
- Grow existing client relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
Key Selection Criteria
- Previous experience in Account Management, Client Services or Sales.
- Experience working with national retail customers, preferably within the DIY or Trade channel.
- Advanced Excel skills, including analysing large data sets, pivot tables, lookups and reporting.
- Experience interpreting sales or operational data and presenting insights to clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate data and recommendations in a clear and practical way.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
