About the Role
We currently have multiple opportunities for dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistance Support Workers to provide in-home cleaning and household support to CHSP clients.
You will be servicing clients in and around: Ashfield, Burwood, Burwood Heights, Croydon Park, Enfield, Chiswick, Dulwich Hill, Rozelle, Newtown, and Redfern.
You should be based in or near Ashfield or a nearby suburb, as this role covers a set of regular clients across these areas and relies on being able to reach them easily via public transport or short travel.
This is an independent role with regular clients and consistent shifts (same day and time each week or fortnight). You will build meaningful relationships while supporting older clients to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting and general household tidying
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Washing dishes
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination (as per client and government requirements)
- Reliable transport and a valid Australian driver's license
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Right to work in Australia
- Comfortable working with older people in a home environment
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in domestic assistance, aged care or home care support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of CHSP or aged care service delivery

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
