We are a Melbourne-based property styling business specialising in preparing homes for sale through expert styling and presentation. As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are focused on strengthening our brand, expanding our presence across Melbourne, and establishing ourselves as the leading name in property styling services. To support this growth, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales and marketing professional to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hunter role for someone who thrives on building relationships from scratch and turning them into long-term, high-value partnerships. You'll be out in the market or on the phone every day — meeting new people, opening doors, and creating a steady pipeline of business that drives real growth for the company (and real bonus dollars for you).
You'll own the full relationship lifecycle: prospecting new contacts, pitching our services face-to-face, converting new accounts, and then managing and growing those accounts over time. Alongside this, you'll bring fresh marketing ideas to the table — including content for social media — to build our brand presence and support your own sales pipeline.
This isn't a role where you wait for leads to come to you. It's for someone who knows how to build a network from nothing, follow up relentlessly, and stay methodical about growing a book of business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identifying, contacting, and building relationships with new industry partners across Melbourne
- Managing the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed, ongoing accounts
- Acting as an account manager for your growing portfolio — nurturing and expanding existing relationships
- Presenting our services face-to-face and representing our brand professionally at every touchpoint
- Developing and implementing new marketing strategies and campaigns to build brand awareness
- Creating engaging social media content, including presenting on camera
- Following up consistently and persistently to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
- Reporting regularly to your manager on pipeline, activity, and results
- Continuously refining your approach — testing new strategies to improve your own performance and results
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally B2B
- A strong understanding of the property market, or the ability to get up to speed quickly
- Genuine interest in (or experience with) real estate, property services and styling
- A track record of building relationships from a standing start
- Perseverance — someone who follows up and doesn't give up after one "no"
- A methodical, organised approach to managing a growing pipeline and account base
- Confidence presenting face-to-face and building trust quickly
- Comfort creating content and speaking on camera for social media
- A likeable, trustworthy, and professional manner
- Punctual, well-presented, and reliable
- Someone who takes initiative — able to create and implement new strategies without being asked
