As a Clinical Facilitator - Midwifery, you'll play a vital role in strengthening clinical practice and supporting safe, high-quality maternity care across the service. From coaching staff in real-time clinical settings to driving learning and improvement, you'll work alongside a passionate team to deliver meaningful outcomes for women, babies and families.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Growing capability across the team by coaching, mentoring and supporting midwives and nurses in clinical practice
Partnering with leaders and educators to embed best practice and strengthen care standards
Guiding competency development, helping staff build confidence from novice to experienced clinicians
Driving quality and safety improvements through feedback, audits and evidence-based practice

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Registration as a Registered Nurse with current practising certificate
Strong clinical experience in midwifery with advanced judgement and decision-making skills
Proven ability to coach, mentor and assess clinical capability in others
Collaborative mindset with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in rural or regional healthcare and/or postgraduate qualifications or training in education or assessment.
