Darlinghurst NSW (hybrid). You’ll be office-based at least 5 days per fortnight for full-time roles (pro-rata for part-time), with the remaining days worked flexibly as agreed.
We are seeking a senior lawyer to lead and influence intelligence-led regulatory practice at a system level. This role combines deep legal expertise with strategic analysis to identify emerging risks, guide regulatory responses and strengthen performance of the workers compensation and CTP schemes.
You will translate complex legal and operational insights into clear, actionable strategies that enhance fairness, integrity and confidence in the scheme.
What you’ll do

Provide authoritative legal advice shaping regulatory intelligence strategy

Analyse data and insights to identify systemic issues, trends and emerging risks

Lead development of briefs, risk assessments and regulatory options

Influence senior decision-making and engage across government and industry

Build capability and mentor others in intelligence-led legal practices
What you bring

Significant experience in administrative or regulatory law

Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence high-level decisions

Experience working with complex data, intelligence or policy environments

Proven ability to lead, mentor and deliver in a fast-paced, high-impact setting

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $133348 base plus superannuation
