The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Membership Sales Advisor to join our front-of-house team. This is a hands-on customer service and sales role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves helping others achieve their fitness goals.
Ideally, you’ll have a combination of customer service and sales experience, and a strong interest—or even background—in health and fitness. Holding a Certificate III in Fitness (minimum) is highly desirable, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for members and guests — delivering outstanding service every time
- Lead facility tours and manage the full membership sales process from enquiry through to sign-up.
- Prepared to promote the gym through outreach activities and events
- Handle enquiries, bookings, and point-of-sale transactions
- Stay up to date with all gym programs, events, and promotions
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming gym
- Take pride in the appearance of the gym by completing daily cleaning duties across reception and gym floor areas to ensure the facility remains clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times
- Support the wider team with day-to-day operations
- Engage with members proactively — greeting everyone with a vibrant, positive attitude
- Manage incoming leads promptly and professionally, ensuring every enquiry is followed up and nurtured
- Build strong rapport with members to enhance retention and overall experience
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, creating a friendly and energetic atmosphere
- Assist members with class bookings, app support, and general gym information to ensure a smooth experience
What We’re Looking For (at least):
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and customer service.
- Previous experience in a gym or fitness environment is highly regarded
- Certificate III or IV in Fitness or above (preferred, but not essential)
- We’re looking for someone who brings great energy to the role and naturally connects with people, but also someone who lives and breathes the lifestyle. The ideal candidate is active, health-focused, and preferably trains in the gym themselves. This helps them understand our environment, relate to our members, and represent the UFC GYM culture authentically every day.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has a good Mathematical knowledge and skill
- Tech-savvy with good computer skills (Office 365 experience a bonus)
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Friendly, reliable, and highly organised
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Available across a rotating roster (including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends)
