As our Conversion Optimisation Manager, you’ll lead our CRO, experimentation and personalisation strategy, across our portfolio of iconic brands. You’ll use customer behaviour, data and experimentation to identify opportunities, remove friction and create digital experiences that deliver genuine customer and commercial impact.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Technology, you’ll work closely with Digital, UX, Product, Brand, Merchandising, developers and external partners to turn customer insight into action. With a strong ecommerce business and an increasingly sophisticated digital ecosystem spanning ecommerce, CRM, CDP and in-store technology, we’re investing in the technology and capability to deliver more personalised and connected customer experiences.
About the Role
This is a newly focused opportunity to shape how experimentation and personalisation is done across Accent Group.
You’ll own the CRO roadmap, identify high-impact opportunities and build a robust test-and-learn program across our ecommerce and digital experiences. You won’t simply wait for a brief; you’ll use data and customer behaviour to proactively identify where we can do better.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the CRO and experimentation roadmap across ecommerce and campaign landing experiences.
- Building and managing a prioritised testing backlog aligned to customer and commercial opportunities.
- Using behavioural insights from GA4, FullStory and Voice of Customer data to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Developing customer-focused hypotheses across acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention and reactivation.
- Designing and launching A/B, multivariate and holdout tests using Bloomreach.
- Working with developers, designers and UX teams to bring test experiences to life.
- Scaling successful tests into always-on personalisation through audience segmentation and targeting.
- Facilitating ideation sessions and workshops with Brand, Digital, Product and Merchandising teams.
- Building frameworks and toolkits to embed an experimentation mindset across the business.
- Reporting on test outcomes and clearly communicating what worked, what didn’t and what we should do next.
- Sharing insights and learnings across the business to drive continuous improvement.
About you
You’re naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about understanding why customers behave the way they do.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated 3–5+ years’ experience in CRO, experimentation or digital optimisation, ideally within retail, FMCG or high-volume ecommerce.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise experimentation and personalisation platforms.
- Experience setting up tests, developing audiences and delivering personalisation use cases.
- Experience with CDPs, server-side testing, HTML/CSS/JS or relevant CRO, digital marketing or analytics certifications will be highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, testing methodologies and statistical significance.
- Experience with GA4, FullStory or similar behavioural and analytics platforms.
- The ability to work effectively with developers, designers and digital product teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn data into clear and actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail and process documentation skills.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- The ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
