Stable Group (T/A Stable Massage) operates a network of clinics across Victoria, specialising in remedial massage, sports massage, and myotherapy. We are now looking for a fulltime Remedial Massage Therapist for our Prahran Clinic. Our Remedial Massage Therapist provides therapeutic treatments to address musculoskeletal issues, reduce pain, and support overall wellbeing for our clients. The role includes conducting client assessment, individualised treatment planning, and working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Assessment & Physical Evaluation: Conduct thorough consultations, assessing posture, range of motion, muscle tension, and movement patterns. Identify muscular imbalances and underlying issues to inform treatment strategies.
· Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalised treatment plans utilising techniques such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, myotherapy, dry needling, and pregnancy massage.
· Therapeutic Intervention: Perform targeted massage therapies to treat injuries, improve circulation, and relieve stress and pain.
· Client Education: Provide guidance to client on self-management strategies, including exercises and lifestyle modifications, to support recovery and health maintenance.
· Clinic Maintenance and Inventory Management: Keep treatment areas clean, sanitised, and organised; maintain par stock levels; report maintenance issues promptly.
· Client Retention: Actively engage in efforts to retain clients by fostering strong professional relationships and encouraging regular follow-up sessions.
· Appointment Scheduling and Efficiency: Work with the admin team to optimise bookings, minimise downtime, and avoid scheduling conflicts.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide integrated and holistic care. Mentor new and junior therapist.
· Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest developments and techniques in remedial massage therapy through continuous education and training.
· Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
Skills & Qualifications required:
· Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher.
· At least 3 years of work experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist
· Professional indemnity insurance.
· Member of Myotherapy/Remedial Massage Associate
· Eligibility for provider numbers with Australian health funds.
· Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports,
and myotherapy.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
· Commitment to ongoing professional development.
· Willingness and ability to mentor and support new therapists.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage inventory and maintain a
clean workspace.
· Proficiency in scheduling software and appointment management to ensure
efficient booking and minimise conflicts.
· Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.
Working Hours: The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM and Saturday
and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet client needs
within these hours.
Pay: $76,000.00 – $86,000.00 per year
