About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of auto electrical systems on a diverse range of plant and equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates at maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring and electronic systems on fixed and mobile plant to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, component replacement, and pre-start inspections in compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment by managing risks, completing THAs/Take 5s, and adhering to all safety procedures and reporting requirements.
Accurately complete maintenance documentation, inspection records, worksheets, and other required administrative tasks on a daily basis.
Actively participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, ICAM investigations, and the reporting of incidents, accidents, and near misses.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician with experience maintaining light vehicles, heavy mobile equipment, and mining plant.
Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and control systems, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
Current manual driver's licence; First Aid, CPR, and Fire qualifications required. Automotive Air Conditioning Licence is desirable.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
