We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Plastics Machine Operator to join a well-established plastics manufacturing operation based in Campbellfield. This is a hands-on production role suited to someone who takes pride in safe, consistent and quality-focused work.
The position offers ongoing long-term work, opportunities to develop your skills and potential to move to night shift as production requirements grow.
Shift Available:
- Morning Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Monday to Friday – 5 days per week
- Potential opportunity to move to night shift in the future
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plastics manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes and product quality, making basic adjustments where required.
- Follow production schedules and meet quality, safety and productivity requirements.
- Identify and report machine, material or production issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area in line with OH&S requirements.
- Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as required.
- Follow all PPE, safety procedures and site policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating machinery in a plastics or manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
- Good understanding of production processes and workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to Monday–Friday attendance.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on production duties.
- Willing to learn, follow instructions and develop new skills.
- Full working rights in Australia.
