The Opportunity
As the Facilities Manager, you will contribute to delivering world-class Facilities Management (FM) services into our Industrial Sites. Across our state-of-the-art customer fulfillment and distribution centres, our focus is clear: to be a strategic partner in operational excellence.
You will be at the forefront of managing critical infrastructure; from industrial refrigeration to automated fulfilment processes and our extensive Material Handling Equipment (MHE) fleet, ensuring we provide Assets you can DEPEND on. Through best-in-class asset lifecycle management, we are striving to guarantee over 99% uptime of critical assets and balance planned vs. reactive maintenance to keep our operations running smoothly.
What you’ll do
Deliver all matters relating to FM operations, manual handling engineering, risk and compliance.
Ensure that the site facility and assets are managed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice; comply with local and statutory regulations; Landlord and insurance requirements; and WOW standards, policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage FM contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed toWOW policies, procedures and standards, so as to minimise disruption to occupants and operators.
Conduct and complete national/regional/state DC property and F&M related inspections as per the nominated frequencies via the nominated platform.
Lead the procurement of site-specific non-residential services and contracts in accordance with WOW procurement guidelines.
Point of call for site-specific technical and maintenance advice, supporting onsite operational, safety, asset protection, and other WOW teams, and contractors.
Formulate and deliver operating expenditure budgeting and forecasting.
What you’ll bring
Previous experience in a similar onsite Facilities management role with management of all hard and soft services.
Previous experience with contract and contractor management
Strong experience and knowledge of -
Automation, Refrigeration & Fire services, including essential safety measures demonstrating knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
The Building Code of Australia, Hydraulics services, Electrical systems, Lights and lighting systems, Mechanical systems
Strong experience in the facilities and/or property industry, industrial or Building / Engineering trade background- desired
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods throughout the duration of the shift.
