About the Role
Highpoint Roofing is looking for a motivated Roof Plumbing Labourer/Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career in the roofing industry. No previous roofing experience is required—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn.
You'll begin by working alongside our qualified roof plumber as a groundsman/labourer, learning the fundamentals of the trade. (Options to undertake an apprenticeship to become a qualified Roof Plumber is available)
What You'll Be Doing
· Assisting with metal roofing installations and repairs.
· Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
· Preparing job sites and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
· Learning the correct use of roofing tools and equipment.
· Assisting with gutter, fascia, downpipe and roof sheeting installation.
· Working safely at heights under supervision.
· Travelling to various job sites throughout South East Queensland.
· Providing friendly and professional customer service while working at clients' homes and commercial properties.
· Developing the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Roof Plumber.

Essential Requirements
· Current driver's licence (Provisional or Open) or reliable transport to and from our workshop each day.
· White Card (or willingness to obtain before commencing).
· Ability to perform manual physical work.
· Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Roof Plumbing as part of an apprenticeship.
