Our practice has been established since 2014 in Bella Vista and is well respected in the field of respiratory and sleep medicine. We offer a range of appointments for patients including physician consultations, lung function testing, Mannitol challenge tests and home sleep studies. We have 5 Respiratory & Sleep physicians. On site parking is provided.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous medical secretarial experience is essential.
- The practice uses Genie software and previous experience with this is also desirable but not essential.
- Previous Dictaphone typing highly regarded.
- Medicare/DVA billing experience essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
Working with an established specialist and administrative team for 22.5 hours per week from our Bella Vista office. Days would include Saturday's.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide receptionist and administration support
- Monitoring and managing emails, high volume of telephone calls and patient correspondence
- Dictaphone typing
- Processing outgoing and incoming mail with health link
- Meeting/Greeting patients in a friendly manner
- Scanning of documents
- Organising patient clinics
- Running of clinics
- Daily banking reconciliation
- Scheduling appointments
- General tidying of the office
- You must be available to cover sick and annual leave
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour
