We are seeking qualified and experienced Arborists to join our Tree Services team. In this role, you’ll carry out tree maintenance across Council parks and open spaces while helping lead crews to deliver safe and high-quality work.
What you will do:
- Perform tree pruning, removals, and maintenance works
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, EWPs, and other specialist equipment
- Assess tree condition and identify potential hazards
- Respond to storm damage and emergency call-outs
- Lead and support small work crews on site
- Ensure safety, traffic management, and WHS compliance
- Communicate professionally with residents and stakeholders
- Protect surrounding vegetation and public assets during works
About you
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
- Previous experience working as an Arborist
- SafeWork NSW White Card
- Current MR Driver Licence
Desirable
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket over 11 metres

Salary and benefits: $1,372.54 to $1,534.91 per week (includes adverse working condition allowance of per week $19.49 pw) plus 12% Superannuation. Changes may vary with the adoption of the NSW Local Government Award and conditions after 1 st July 2026.
