Looking for a role where you can grow, feel supported, and make a real difference?
At Employment Plus, you'll join a team that genuinely cares - about you and the people we support. Your work will help individuals with a disability, injury or health condition build confidence, independence and a future they can be proud of.
We're excited to welcome a new Employment Consultant to our Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. Unlike traditional employment services, IEA offers:
A smaller caseload, giving you time to build genuine relationships
A focus on quality outcomes, not volume
More hands‑on, personalised support and relationship building
You'll support people across the Devonport and Burnie regions working with individuals in the surrounding areas as they move toward sustainable employment.
What you'll be doing
This role can be fast-paced and requires you to stay organised and focused on outcomes, but you'll have strong support and clear systems to help you succeed.
A typical day might include:
Building supportive, motivating relationships with IEA participants
Helping people prepare resumes, job applications and interview skills
Connecting with local employers, identifying suitable opportunities and advocating for your participants
Providing ongoing support once someone starts work
Making referrals to training providers, allied health and community services
Keeping accurate records to ensure quality support
About you
You enjoy working with people and want to make a positive impact. You might be:

If you're a strong communicator, motivating, organised, resilient and calm under pressure, you'll thrive here. A driver's licence and your own car are required as you'll travel between sites across the region. A pool car is available for use for travel to outreach sites.
