ABOUT THE ROLE
This key role is responsible for supporting and enhancing Fleetcare's governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks whilst driving continual improvement across business processes.
Key responsibilities include
- Implementing and maintaining robust governance processes and procedures to support compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop, review, and update policies and procedures in line with legislative changes.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement in governance practices.
- Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking advice on governance-related matters.
- Compiling comprehensive reports on governance activities, findings, and recommendations for executive view.
- Monitoring key performance indicators related to governance effectiveness and proposing remedial actions where necessary.
- Supporting the implementation of training to enhance awareness of governance principles across the organisation
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of relevant qualifications, practical experience and well-developed professional capabilities, including:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Business or Quality Management
- Demonstrated experience in governance, compliance, risk management, quality assurance or a similar role
- Experience supporting and maintaining management systems and compliance frameworks
- Proven capability in coordinating audits and compliance activities
- Experience preparing clear, concise reports and presentations for management and executive stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships, influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
- Exposure to ESG or sustainability reporting
- Experience administering Promapp or similar process management systems
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001)
